Deciding to seek the help of a therapist can be a huge step that can come with a lot of different emotions such as uncertainty, fear, empowerment, or curiosity. It is my goal to honor these feelings and create a safe space for you so that you feel free to share about yourself – your concerns, struggles, wishes, and desires. That way, we can work through difficult emotional moments together and allow for healing to take place.
I look at every person as a “whole” with mind, body, and emotions affecting each other. My approach is based on neuroscience and offers a rich pathway for exploration and transformation. I offer a compassionate, trauma-informed approach using evidence-based practices such as Brainspotting to help heal deeper wounds and trauma.
I like to focus on your strengths, on expanding your coping skills, and on finding solutions together. Together we will explore what is getting in the way of you reaching your goals and how these obstacles can be removed. Helping you identify and reframe negative beliefs can reduce feelings of anxiety or depression. Our past experiences play an important role in getting us where we currently are; making changes in the present and reframing our perspectives helps us move forward.
In my practice, I tailor my approach to your needs. I offer long-term therapy that is insight oriented, in-depth, and helpful in identity exploration. I also offer short-term solution-focused therapy that is aimed at meeting your needs in a particular situation.
I love my work and am honored to assist you in your journey.
